EWA TRACZ – SOPRANO
Born in 29.08.1988 in Poland.
A graduate of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan (2018) and doctoral studies at the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the solo singing class of prof. AM dr hab. Ewa Biegas.
She is a laureate of many international vocal competitions, including: 1st Prize in the International Vocal Competition I. Godina Iuventus Canti (Slovakia, 2011), 1st Prize in the category of female voices in the XV Competition of Vocal Art. Ady Sari in Nowy Sącz (2013) 2nd Prize in the 9th International Klaudia Taev Vocal Competition (Estonia, 2015), 2nd Prize in the 9th International Vocal Competition St. Moniuszko (2016) and 1st Prize in the Karol Szymanowski International Vocal Competition in Katowice (2018).
She made her debut on the stage of the Wrocław Opera with the role of Giovanna D'arco in the opera Giovanna D'arco” by G. Verdi (2014). Next was Countess in the opera “The Marriage of Figaro” (2014), Fiordiligi in the Opera “Cosi fan tutte “ W.A. Mozart (2015). Marianna in the opera “Knight of the Silver Rose” by R. Strauss (2014) and Ksenia in “Borys Godunov “ by M. Mussorgsky (2015).
On the Milan La Scala stage, she made her debut with the part of Konstancja in the opera “Abduction from Seraj” in a version for children in Italian W.A. Mozart (2016), The Fairy part in the ballet “Midsummer Night's Dream” by F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy (2017), the Mother (Gertrude) in “Hansel and Margaret” by E. Humperdinck (2017), and Anna's part in “Nabucco” by G.Verdi (2017).
She made her debut with the Micaela part in “Carmen” (2018) and the part of Ulana in “Manru” by J. I. Paderewski (2018), which she also presented at the Lviv Opera and the National Ukrainian Opera in Kiev. With the Warsaw Chamber Opera, she sang the role of Countess in the opera "The Marriage of Figaro" at Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo once again during a tour in Japan (2019). The Castle Opera in Szczecin, she sang Roxana in K. Szymanowski's opera 'King Roger' (2022) At the Baltic Opera, she performed the title role in the opera 'The Countess; St. Moniuszko (2022). She made her debut as Musetta from the opera La Bohème (2022) at Hyogo Performing Art in Kobe, Japan.
She collaborates with many excellent conductors, orchestras and singing coaches.
