Anika Paulick

The singer Anika Paulick (soprano) moves primarily between opera, operetta and chanson. She is characterised by her musical intensity and the courage to use her voice to bring emotional
worlds to life for the audience in a nuanced way.
Important stations were her permanent engagement during her singing studies at the Cottbus State Theatre as well as guest engagements at the Leipzig Opera (with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra), the Halle Opera, the Osnabrück Theatre, the Musikalische Komödie Leipzig, the Contemporary Music Festival in Estonia and the Classic Open Air Berlin, among others. Her repertoire includes roles such as Rosalinde (‘Die Fledermaus’), Rusalka, Ottilie (‘Im Weißen Rössl’) and Freia (‘Das Rheingold’).
In addition to classical music, Anika discovered her love of chanson. With the programme ‘Aufbruch. Und wo bin dann ich?’ by her chanson duo lola.gelb, she has performed at the Kurt Weill Fest in Dessau, the Krystallpalast Leipzig and the Theater im Palais Berlin, among others. Alongside her vocal studies at the HMT Leipzig, Anika studied education and German language and literature in Berlin and Leipzig. As a coach for voice awareness, she accompanies executives and self-employed people in workshops and seminars.
