Piotr Pawlak is one of the most versatile and fascinating Polish artists of the younger generation, successfully combining a career as an international pianist and organist with a passion for the exact sciences. Born in Gdańsk in 1998, the musician regularly performs in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, sharing the stage with leading orchestras such as the Baltic Philharmonic and the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra. His spectacular success at the 5th International Maj Lind Piano Competition in Helsinki in 2022, where he won first prize, brought him wide acclaim, as did his reaching the semifinals of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2025.
Piotr is a graduate of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he graduated with distinction from the piano and organ classes. Alongside his artistic education, he developed a rare talent for mathematics – he has won national and international competitions, and continues his scientific passions as a doctoral candidate in mathematics at the University of Gdańsk. On stage, Piotr Pawlak impresses not only with his profound understanding of musical form and virtuosity, but also with his extraordinary art of improvisation, making each of his performances a unique artistic event.
